
Torus Technology Group have expanded
Torus Technology Group based in Telford have expanded their site located on Nedge Hill Science Park. Torus Automation have recently moved into the new purpose built site, due to Torus’ ongoing success and growth the decision was taken to expand the site at Nedge Hill in Telford last year. The project to build a further 10,000 square feet kicked off last September. Built adjacent to the current head office for Torus Technology Group and Torus Measurement Systems, Torus Automation’s new site boasts a machine workshop with the latest CNC machining centres for internal manufacture of complex machine parts. The new site also features state-of-the-art conference facilities and a Solidworks™ CAD design centre.
Chris Parry, Torus Automation Project Engineer said regarding moving to the new site: “significant investments in the new build reflects our commitment to invest in the future of our business, the site has been designed specifically to meet the current and future needs of Torus Automation and our customers. Having the ability to manufacture complex machine parts via the latest CNC machines enables Torus to deliver cost-effective and time efficient products to our customers.”
An open day is planned for the Autumn and will be announced to customers on the website and by invitation.
Torus Automation provides design and assembly services for a range of machine structures, machine enclosures, environmental solutions, modular construction, conveying and loading systems.
