CUSTOMER SUPPORT ENGINEER

Torus Measurement Systems is recruiting a Customer Support Engineer to join our existing team in Customer Support

The Customer Support Engineer will be responsible for:

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To service and support all of the products of TORUS Measurement Systems Ltd as part of an international team of support engineers.
  • Preventative maintenance and breakdown support covering the range of Torus products.
  • Technical support, troubleshooting and calibration covering the range of Torus products.
  • Equipment Installation / Upgrading of the full range of Torus products.
  • Maintenance, breakdown, technical support, calibration and upgrading of appropriate third-party
  • Providing professional and courteous telephone support
  • Provide technical help desk services when office or home based.
  • Customer / Agent training
  • Quality / Performance testing equipment prior to dispatch
  • Report generation.
  • Promotion of a World Class support operation
  • Promotion of Company Products to customers when on site and assisting customers to understand the benefits of the Products.
  • The position will require a considerable amount of National and International travel providing support to our global customer base.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing/engineering environment,
  • Experience working in an agile, fast-paced, environment with the ability to lead and adapt in a changing business environment.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Word and
  • Excellent communication Skills – verbal and written
  • Minimum ONC –Qualification or equivalent or Proven Experience working in a similar role.

 

The successful candidate will have the following skills:
